In spacious and undisturbed surroundings you'll find 11 (heated)
cabins for 2 up to
6 persons.
The cabins are equipped with a 2-pit cooking plate, kitchen utensils, dinner-sets,
cutlery, a refrigerator, a coffee machine,
duvets, pillows
and on the terrace there is a
garden table and garden chairs.
In our house we let
a cosy room (Rom).
The room is a bed-sittingroom with
2 single beds, a water-cooker, a coffee machine
and a refrigerator.
Next to the room is a bathroom with a toilet and a fitted wash-hand
basin with
warm and cold water.
The room can be rented with or without breakfast.
On our camping site it is possible to rent a motorhome (from June 1st until
August 20th) for 2 persons. It is a
Hymer B544 with a pull down double bed over the drivers cabin.
The motorhome is on a beautiful spot on our camping site and has electricity, a
kitchen with a 3 burner gascooking plate, kitchen utensils, dinner-sets, cutlery,
a refrigerator, a coffee machine, heating, hot and cold water, a bathroom with a
toilet and a fitted wash-hand basin and a wardrobe.
The pull down double bed has 2 pillows.
All you need to bring is a 2 persons duvet or 2 sleeping bags, a sheet and 2 pillow cases.
It is also possible to rent the duvet cover, sheet and pillow cases with us.
Outside the motorhome is a half open awning with garden furniture.
On our camping site
you can rent a lavvo (from June 15th until August 20th) for 4 persons, a traditional tent in which the Sami used to
live.
It is a lavvo Varanger (16 m²) with a woodstove and 4 camping beds.
The lavvo is on a beautiful spot on our camping site and has electricity, a
kitchenette with a double electric cooking plate,
kitchen utensils, dinner-sets, cutlery,
a small refrigerator, a woodstove and furniture.
The bed have pillows so all you need to bring are sleepings bags and pillow
cases.
The first bag of wood is included.
Birkelund camping can supply 33
caravans, motorhomes or tents with electricity and has 45 camping places for
caravans, motorhomes and tents.
Outside the sanitarybuilding is a chemical tank disposal to
empty the lavatory of your motorhome or caravan and there is a pit for emptying
the wateroutlet of your mobile home or caravan.
Near the kiosk you can fill up your freshwater tank.
Dogs are, provided that they are on a lead, welcome on
Birkelund
camping.
